I like GW,....
both from his perspective of the Conservative cause, as well as his ability to articulate same. I am, after all, a Grady Grad!...This is an informative and well written piece that, unfortunately, will very likely be tossed aside like many of Mr. Will's colleagues, who've penned similar essays.
Like you, I most admired Kasich as a representative from the Right and Jim Webb as a representative from the Left. John made the most of his doomed candidacy, while poor Jim never heard the gun go off!
Unlike you, I'll not sit this one out because the stakes are much to high! George is correct in his assessment of the current Republican parties trajectory. Not only will 2016 be a referendum on the Oval, but down ballots across the republic. While the Oval is important to me, I'm much more keen to the need to eradicate the uselessness mired to it's axles, otherwise known as Congress, as well as disposing of the mold ridden tea bags that have populated the NC Governor's Mansion and State Legislature.
Should make for a very interesting summer, whilst we await the return of FOOTBALL!!!
